Huge thank you to all of the amazing volunteers and partners that helped make Community Dental Day a success on June 8th!

Because of your participation and support, CADF provided more than $35,000 in care to over 110 Central Texans in need! These patients will be relieved of pain, experience restored confidence and take another step towards achieving overall health and wellness.

A special thank you to our host offices Round Rock Dental Group and Rose Dental Group, as well as the dozens of volunteer dentists, hygienists, assistants and front office folks who spent their Saturday giving back to the community.

We are also grateful for the support of ICD USA Section Foundation, Patterson Dental – Austin, TX and McLerran & Associates Practice Transitions who helped make this day possible.

CADF will be hosting its next Community Dental Day on Saturday, June 8 at two locations:

Round Rock Dental Group (150 Deep Wood Dr, Round Rock, TX 78681

We are seeking volunteer dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and office staff to help from 7:15 AM to 1:30 PM (snacks and lunch will be provided).  We are also seeking Spanish translators to assist our clients.

Dr. Max Kerr, owner of Vista Ridge Family Dentistry, believes in the power of smiles. Three years ago, he made a generous donation to CADF for Amplify Austin after hearing about the campaign. For the last two years, Dr. Kerr has matched donations made to CADF during Amplify Austin, along with his business partner, Dr. Brandon Hedgecock. This year Dr. Kerr and Dr. Hedgecock’s generosity helped CADF exceed its fundraising goal and raise over $18,000 for our charitable dental programs.

Dr. Kerr believes deeply in giving back and has made it a priority to support causes that are meaningful to him. He supports CADF annually during Amplify Austin and also hosts a “Free Smiles” day every holiday season at his office in Cedar Park. He is an active CADF volunteer and “adopts” a patient each year to give a total smile makeover. “It destroys me that some people are too ashamed to smile because they have a dental problem. That’s what motivates me to get involved with CADF and give back.”
